ages 5-12
Monday- 1:00, 2:30, and 4:00

Art Experiences is a class that answers the “who, what, why, when and how” of art in past and present times. Discover a whole new world of art experiences. Students learn the basic, necessary skills and elements of art, alongside the lives of the great masters and new contemporary artists. Artists that will inspire our creations are Vincent Van Gogh, Claude Monet, Georgia O’Keeffe and many more! This class will also incorporate Global, Wildlife, and Storybook Art. All in a fun and encouraging atmosphere that sparks their own creativity. The fundamental elements and principles of art will be emphasized. The most important aspects of the art projects are discovery, exploration, and individual creativity. Independent thinking is encouraged, while skills and responsibility are met through individual decisions.

Class sessions run for 4 weeks and cost $72 per 4 week session.

Tuesday Create Club!
ages 5 -12
45 minute class
The Create Club is a fun, 45 minute open process art studio time for aspiring artists ages 5-12. Open process art focuses on the exploration and experience of creating art. We encourage our young artists to freely experiment with materials and techniques, while fostering creativity, problem-solving, and fine motor skills. Students feel empowered to make choices and take ownership of their creations while exploring their own creativity and self-expression. We will have a new bright and inspiring theme each week, with one guided project table and two open tables with various art mediums, supplies and tools for students to try out and experiment with.
This class is offered weekly for $14 per class.

Fall classes begin in August 2025
​Monday and Tuesday Classes at Beachside Tutoring- Navarre

Classes begin August 4th and 5th. Art Experiences sessions dates for Fall are:
Fall Sessions
Session 1- August 4-5, 11-12, 18-19, 25-26
Session 2 -September 8-9, 15-16, 22-23, 29-30
Session 3 -October 6-7,13-14,20-21,27-28
Session 4 -November 3-4,10-11,17-18 and December 1-2 (No classes November 24-25)​
​​Fall Sessions run August through December.
Each session teaches new and different concepts and content!

Art Experiences Classes are offered in 4 week sessions for $72 for a 1 hour class. All supplies are provided and a one time registration fee of $10 is required.

Tuesday Create Club may be paid for weekly at $14 per class. All supplies are provided and a one time registration fee of $10 is required.

Please fill out the registration form and we will send you a Preregistration confirmation. Please let us know if you are a SUFS scholarship student. Payment can be made in person by check or cash. We also accept PayPal and Venmo.

Session payment must be paid at or before the first class.

Cancellation Policy-By registering your child you agree that you will receive an email invoice before each session or art class, payment is due on or before the first class. If you must cancel your registration before the class begins PLEASE let us know as we hold your child’s space in good faith. If Aurora Light Arts cancels a lesson we will offer make up options. If your child cannot attend a class that has been paid for there will be an option for a make up class. There are no refunds.

Who We Are
Aurora Light Arts is a creative endeavor started by myself and my family to bring fun, creative and inspiring classes, works of art and hand made products to our community. My name is Dawn Meyer and I am so excited to teach your children and share with them my love for art and creativity! I have homeschooled my own 4 children and I have thoroughly enjoyed my role as a homeschool mom. I have a degree in Art Education and have taught art in many schools and enrichment programs over the past 25 years and I always enjoy the opportunity to teach more art classes.

My daughter Grace is an amazing artist who is starting her career as a creator and also enjoys teaching special workshops and helping in our art classes. She has created delightful designs from local wildlife we will offer on our website.
​
Our classes are focused on encouraging your young artist to be confident in their own abilities and creative intuition, alongside learning art fundamentals and exploring art in the world around us. My classes strive to encourage students to create works of art that are guided but open-ended, allowing them to choose and make their own art decisions while completing a cohesive project that they can be excited about. We desire to help children embrace their God given creativity and imagination, and to celebrate their own unique abilities.
