Try out Create Club!
✨ Come create, explore, and play! ✨
Throughout the month of February, we warmly invite you and your little artists (ages 3–6) to experience the joy of creating together at Aurora Light Arts during Create Club—our playful, open-studio art time designed just for young creatives.
Create Club is offered on Thursdays from 10:30–12:00 for just $14 per child, with a maximum of $25 per family. It’s the perfect opportunity to step into our studio, get a little messy, and make meaningful memories through art.
Each week, children will enjoy bright, inspiring, kid-friendly seasonal themes paired with super fun, hands-on creative projects that spark imagination and curiosity. Create Club is a process-based art experience, meaning we celebrate exploration and creativity over a finished product.
Young artists are encouraged to experiment freely with a variety of materials and techniques, building confidence, fine motor skills, problem-solving abilities, and creative independence along the way. Every child’s artwork is as unique as they are—and that’s exactly what we love!
✨ This is not a drop-off class. Parents and caregivers are encouraged to join in, create alongside their child, and share in the creative magic.
February Themes Include:

Escuela Del Arte! - Explore the Spanish language and create beautiful artworks together!
We are so excited to welcome Angie Finegan, "The Navarre Spanish Teacher", owner of Language Learning Services to join Aurora Light Arts in presenting this wonderful immersive Spanish language and art combo class for ages 5-12.
Class is 1.5 hrs
Cost is $80 for the 2 class session
Please contact us directly for SUFS options
This engaging class combines Spanish language learning with creative art in a fun, supportive environment. The first half of each class is dedicated to a structured, immersive Spanish curriculum where students build vocabulary, pronunciation, and basic conversational skills through songs, games, movement, stories, and interactive activities. Instruction is delivered primarily in Spanish and adapted to different ages and learning levels, making it welcoming for beginners and continuing learners alike.
In the second half of class, students apply what they’ve learned through a hands-on art project connected to the Spanish lesson. Using a variety of materials and techniques - such as painting, drawing, collage, and sculpture - children reinforce language concepts while exploring creativity and cultural themes from the Spanish-speaking world.
This class supports language development, cultural awareness, and artistic expression while fostering confidence, imagination, and a love of learning. No prior Spanish experience is required.

Who We Are
Aurora Light Arts is a heartfelt, family-run creative venture devoted to making art accessible, joyful, and inspiring for all. We offer engaging classes and welcoming artistic opportunities that nurture creativity, build community, and celebrate creative expression. Through hands-on learning, handmade products, and unforgettable creative experiences, we spark imagination and bring people together.
My name is Dawn Meyer, and I’m thrilled to welcome your children into our studio and share my lifelong passion for art and creativity. As a homeschool mom to my four children, I’ve cherished guiding their artistic journeys at home. With a degree in Art Education and over 30 years of experience teaching in schools and enrichment programs, it has long been my dream to create a beautiful, dedicated art space in Navarre. Here, we can expand our offerings to include classes for kids, teens, and adults; host painting parties, curated craft events, photography workshops, special gatherings, and more—all designed to foster creativity, build confidence, and encourage meaningful connections through art.
Joining me is my talented daughter, Grace, an emerging artist launching her own creative career. My husband, Bill, is also an integral part of the team—an accomplished photographer with years of experience capturing meaningful moments through family and wildlife photography. Our son, Gerald, is an accomplished writer who leads engaging creative writing workshops, helping participants find their voice and tell their stories with confidence.
Together, we offer engaging classes and welcoming artistic opportunities that nurture creativity and build community.
Our Art Studio Classes for Kids and Teens
Our classes are thoughtfully designed to nurture young artists’ confidence in their unique abilities and creative intuition while building a strong foundation in art fundamentals. Students explore the beauty of art in the world around them through guided, open-ended projects that empower them to make their own artistic choices. The result? Cohesive, personal artworks they’re truly proud to take home.
Above all, we aim to celebrate each child’s God-given creativity and imagination, helping them discover and embrace their individual talents in a supportive, encouraging environment.
Creative Workshops & Events, Guest Artists and Teachers
Through guest artists, inspiring teachers, adult classes, and special events, we create joyful and meaningful opportunities to explore creativity and experience art together.
